Newhartverse

The Newhartverse, named after the show Newhart is a universe inside the Tommy Westphall Universe, its a seperate one on a lower level given that. SPOILER!!! The events of Newhart are simply a dream of Bob Newhart from the Bob Newhart Show which in turn is in the Tommy Westphallverse. Hence where its a dream within a dream.

  • Bud Bundy from Married... with Children appears in the Parker Lewis Can't Lose episode "Musso & Frank"
    • Sidenote, the character from popular SNL sketches Father Guido Sarducci appears in Married with Children but I chose to not count that as one it would connect it to the main Tommy Westphall universe and I know we are already talking about dreams within dreams but Im not sure how that works, but he appears in several shows from there too but id say he is more like an easter egg or pop reference rather than binding connective tissue. He's appeared in too much to even really propagate it as real crossover.
  •  Top of the Heap is a spin-off of Married... with Children

The count for shows in the Newhartverse is 73 shows. Meaning if we count the main Tommy Westphall universe with it, then the Tommy Westphall Universe has 180 shows on it, some of which are still airing today and reaching as far back as the 1940s.

This is the status of it currently, future crossovers could increase the size of either the main or the newhartverse, but right now it's already massive without bloating it with minor references that are just relegated to shows using the same props.
